Monkeypox (MPX) Information

Monkeypox (MPX) is a rare disease caused by infection with the monkeypox virus. Monkeypox virus is part of the same family of viruses as variola virus, the virus that causes smallpox.

USF Health Telehealth

Most of our physicians and providers offer appointments through telehealth. When you make an appointment with USF Health, you may be asked to have this appointment via a virtual connection. When viable, this way of connecting with our specialist is an effective way of continuing your care. But for some conditions and situations, an in-person appointment is best. Our team can help guide you through which type of appointment is best for you.
